Kathleen & I had to cover the Memorial Day ceremony in Bel Air for the paper…so we packed up the munchkin rolled out for the event. She handled the canon blast and the 21 gun salute beautifully, didn’t cry once !!!!
Our good friend Jennifer Nelson came into town last weekend all the way from Yakima Washington !!! Actually she was in Philly with with her fiance’ and made the rounds. We were one of the lucky ones as she stopped by for a peek at the munchkin. As you can see Maddie was happy to see her as well !!
Well another month has passed and our little pork chop is two months old and growing like crazy !!!
This was just to damn cute !! Sort of reminded me of Ralphie in the pink bunny suit from A Christmas Story.
Friday was a perfect spring day and Kathleen and I decided to join Billy for a hike at one of my favorite spots, the sweet air section of Gunpowder state park. So we packed up the munchkin and headed out for a nice hike through the Barley Pond loop. Maddie handled it pretty well…a few minor crying incidents but nothing a quick fix of the binky couldn’t take care of. The Baby Bjourn carrier we have is NICE, she actually slept most of the time.Maddie is now part of the hike club group. To see a few more photos check out the baby hike page.
