For Father’s Day we went to Ladew Gardens to see a band called the Crawdaddies, a cajun/zydeco band. Brian, Amy and Eli joined us along with cousins Brian, Erin and Elise and Aunt Kris & Uncle Jeff…we all had a good time snacking on the picnic grub enjoying a few beverages and some good company and good music. For a few more pics please see the Ladew concert page.

Maddie was on the move last weekend…even with the HOT temps. First it was the Eden Mill nature center’s open house & rededication where she met Harford County Executive David Craig…
next we were off to the Fallston community’s Relay for Life event at Fallston High school…To round out Saturday, a visit to Bill & Nicole Mastromanolis’s house for Bill’s B-day party, she slept most of the time but it was fun for mom & dad.
For Sunday, a bit more culture…a trip to the Walter’s Art Museum in Baltimore with friends/uncles Billy & Robert. The museum was hosting an exhibit called, Maps-Finding our Place in the World. All sorts of old maps, really interesting maps…and in another exhibit there were photographs from the Hubble Space telescope. Overall some really cool stuff…and of course the munchkin handled it ALL with hardly a peep other than a few fussy moments because of heat or hunger. Even in the packed museum, she was perfect just looking all around and taking it all in !! There are more Photos on the Maddies Weekend Adventures page, please take a look.
Three Down !

We are well into the third month of the munchkin and all is going well, though the picture may suggest otherwise. She’s around 13 pounds and about 24 inches tall. Baby sounds and sucking on her hands are new newest things. Madeleine also has a beautiful smile though again, the photo may suggest otherwise.

My good friend and fellow photographer Jeff Rollinger had an opening reception, along with two other artists Sunday afternoon at Angel Falls Studios II, which is in a place called Flip’s at 1601 Union Ave. in Hamden, nice work too you should check it out if you get the chance. So as usual Kathleen & I packed up Madeleine and headed out. She must have liked the experience because she was smiling and quiet the entire time. Madeleine also made a new friend, Josh & Kat McKerrow’s daughter Ruby. Ruby was a bit shy at first but warmed up to us after a few minutes. All in all the experience was a success and we can’t wait to get Madeleine out on the next adventure !! (see Jeff’s show page for more pics).
