During Bill & Nicole’s visit Bill grabbed the camera and snapped a few of me making the munchkin giggle. We were just having a good old time smiling, laughing and keeping everyone entertained. check out the laughing pork chop page for a few more !!
Our friends Bill & Nicole Mastromanolis were out cruising around in their new car Sunday afternoon and decided to drop by to say hello and check out the munchkin. They had a good time being entertained by Maddie as she chewed on her toes and drooled all over the place.
Maddie is now officially five months old !! she is rolling over on her own, making all sorts of noises and standing with some help on the balance. She laughs more easily now , which is the greatest !!
So after a long wait Maddie finally got to meet her other great grandmom last Saturday at the Thanner family fiesta…she also met a few of the cousins and of course everyone loved her. I’ll be posting a few other photos from the event on a page in the next day or so, so please check back soon.
We took Maddie for her first July 4th event in Havre de Grace. Joined by Kris & Jeff we packed up the munchkin and headed for the parade. She handled everything perfectly…except for a few sirens that were a bit loud !! She got to meet Rayma McRoberts, a co-worker’s wife…and our friend Bobby Parker and his wife Bev and two WWII vets Joe Lofthouse and Ralph Kelly…two men who I have a lot of respect for and have photographed several times over the years. She even handled the fireworks like a champ, just staring up at them in amazement. I guess the long day finally got to her though because she fell asleep during the grand finale!! All in all it was a great day of fun and adventure with the munchkin. Please see the July 4th page for more photos…there are several there & I still have more to upload so please check back soon !!
For Father’s Day we went to Ladew Gardens to see a band called the Crawdaddies, a cajun/zydeco band. Brian, Amy and Eli joined us along with cousins Brian, Erin and Elise and Aunt Kris & Uncle Jeff…we all had a good time snacking on the picnic grub enjoying a few beverages and some good company and good music. We are well into the third month of the munchkin and all is going well, though the picture may suggest otherwise. She’s around 13 pounds and about 24 inches tall. Baby sounds and sucking on her hands are new newest things. Madeleine also has a beautiful smile though again, the photo may suggest otherwise.
We’ve had Maddie outside several times now for a stroll and Friday was yet another beautiful spring day, so we took the munchkin outside to help build up that immune system and hopefuly fend off those nasty allergies later in life !!!
