We took Maddie for her first July 4th event in Havre de Grace. Joined by Kris & Jeff we packed up the munchkin and headed for the parade. She handled everything perfectly…except for a few sirens that were a bit loud !! She got to meet Rayma McRoberts, a co-worker’s wife…and our friend Bobby Parker and his wife Bev and two WWII vets Joe Lofthouse and Ralph Kelly…two men who I have a lot of respect for and have photographed several times over the years. She even handled the fireworks like a champ, just staring up at them in amazement. I guess the long day finally got to her though because she fell asleep during the grand finale!!
